RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Procurement Strategy & Vendor Management

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to      source high-quality materials while optimizing costs.

  • Build and maintain a strong network of vendors and      suppliers for various interior design materials and scope like HVAC,      Electrical, FF, Security, Millwork, etc.

  • Conduct vendor evaluations, negotiations, and      contract finalizations to ensure best pricing and quality.

  • Establish long-term supplier partnerships to      ensure consistency in material availability.

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors to      expand procurement options and improve sourcing efficiency.

  • Regularly assess market trends, new materials, and      innovations to keep the firm ahead in interior procurement.

2. Material Sourcing & Cost Optimization

  • Identify, evaluate, and procure materials for      luxury interiors, ensuring they meet design and quality standards.

  • Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and      credit limits with vendors.

  • Ensure procurement is done within budget      constraints while maintaining quality and efficiency.

  • Conduct cost-benefit analyses to identify      opportunities for savings without compromising on quality.

  • Maintain an updated database of pricing trends and      alternative suppliers.

3. Process Management & Compliance

  • Implement best practices for procurement      processes, ensuring smooth coordination with design and execution teams.

  • Ensure timely ordering and delivery of materials      to avoid project delays.

  • Track and manage purchase orders, delivery      timelines, and inventory levels.

  • Work closely with site teams to anticipate      material requirements and ensure just-in-time deliveries.

  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring      material availability for each without delays.

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with      internal policies and regulatory requirements.

4. Quality Control & Issue Resolution

  • Perform quality checks on received materials to      ensure they meet project specifications.

  • Handle and resolve vendor disputes, material      defects, and delivery discrepancies.

  • Coordinate with project managers to address any      procurement-related issues on-site projects.

SKILLS

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals      while ensuring quality.

  • Excellent knowledge of interior materials (wood,      laminates, veneers, hardware, lighting, furniture, etc.).

  • Deep industry experience with an established      network of suppliers and vendors.

  • Expertise in new vendor development and supplier      expansion.

  • Ability to manage procurement across multiple      projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of procurement workflows,      contracts, and cost management.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to      handle material and supplier-related challenges.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel & procurement software      for managing procurement records and cost tracking.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Graduate in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or      a related field.

  • Experience: 2–15 years in procurement roles within the interiors, luxury      furniture, or architectural industry.

  • Industry Expertise: Prior experience in high-end interior projects is      a must.
